DGFT has issued a Circular on 14.02.2019 to discontinue issue of physical copy of Advance Authorisations or EPCG Authorisations on or after 01.03.2019 by Regional Authorities in respect of EDI Ports.
Applicants to continue to apply for Authorisations on DGFT site, however, Ras will not issue hard copy for Authorisations to applicants and a message will be sent on the mobile and email address. The applicant can login and print/save the authorisation issued by the RA, on basis of which, exporter can approach Customs Authority at registered EDI port for execution of Bank Guarantee/LUT.
